This is about as close as I get to Steam Punk! I like it in theory but find it difficult to do. I made some grunge board cogs and covered them in Distress Embossing powder but found it difficult to rub it off and make it look too ‘rusty’. Might have to stick to ‘pretty’. These stamps, though, are great for a number of options and I’ve used the dress form here with fantasy film and angelina fibres. They are from a French company called Katzelkraft and they have some really unusual stamps.
Well, this is my first actual POST! Made a load of cards and things over half term -will share some over the next few days. Anything to keep me busy – its a 500 calorie day! – and we have A level exam stress on overdrive in the house at the moment! A card I made for the Craft Stamper Challenge on ripping and tearing that I never got round to uploading to their Blog (well, don’t actually know how to do that yet – but no doubt will shortly). Stamps by the lovely Jo Firth-Young – I was lucky enough to attend one of Jo’s classes in Wantage recently.
